On June 20th, our little baby turned one! She is getting pretty good at walking and talking and it just blows our minds! Dan and Shalene were good enough to have the party at their house, which gave us a whole backyard to throw Blythie's bash! We had a butterfly theme, which Grandma T came up with and we elaborated on. Just like a butterfly, she's beautiful, very busy and UNtouchable. Ask anyone. Blythe does not like to be touched unless it's by mommy or daddy. I made a three tiered cake, which took a really long time to make and we decorated the backyard with butterflies. All of my family came up which was really nice and made the day extra special. Blythie, however, was NOT in a good mood and would not sit on her own. Dave had to hold her while she had her cake, so he got covered in icing.
By and by, it was a great party- food, fun and family!
