Our budding Paleontologist
Lately Blythie has been taking an interest in dinosaurs, and it's so cute! (pictures to follow) She now knows the difference between a T-Rex and a Triceratops. All other dinosaurs are either T-Rex's or Maiasauras. A new dinosaur park opened up outside Edmonton and we have made 3 trips in the last month. It's really cool. They have animatronic (is that what it's called) dinosaurs throughout a forested area. They have sensors in front so that when you walk by they growl or eat leaves, or attack other dinosaurs. She just walks by, despite the loud growls, and talks to them: "Hi Mr. Dinosaur, you having a good day?" "Are you having a snack?" "Do you want some of my kiwis?" Today she was digging in the park's fossil pit with her cousin Charlie. It was adorable. Her new favorite show is Dinosaur Train and Harry and his Bucketful of Dinosaurs. It's pretty cute. What a girl, eh? I'm looking forward to Hallowe'en- she has a T-Rex costume. I can't wait.
